Franklin J. Foil was the victor in the November 17th election for State House of Representatives, District 70. In his first bid for public office, Foil defeated Metro Councilman Pat Culbertson, by nearly 600 votes out of 10,208 cast. "Being elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives is one of my life-long dreams," Foil said. "I am overwhelmed at the hard work my friends and family put forth to help me succeed. I can't wait to be a part of Governor Jindal's team for a new Louisiana." Foil will be sworn in as District 70's new State Representative on January 14th.
