Representative Foil successfully passed legislation to add Bayou Manchac into the State historic and scenic rivers system July 7, 2009
Baton Rouge-Passed unanimously through the House and the Senate, HB451 was signed by Governor Jindal on July 6th. This bill gives Bayou Manchac, which borders Ascension, Iberville, and East Baton Rouge parishes, a Historic Waterways designation and protection.
