BATON ROUGE –Franklin J. Foil, candidate for State Representative in District 70, this week released his third television advertisement which features music from Baton Rouge band, The Eames Era.
In a refreshing change of pace for a political season, Foil’s new ad is both upbeat and entertaining. Produced without any voice over, the ad instead relies on animated still pictures of Baton Rouge with a series of questions superimposed on top. In the background is the energetic music from The Eames Era.

“It’s a different kind of political ad,” said Foil. “But that is really the point. It’s easy to do what everyone else is doing and has been doing for years. But my campaign is about positive change and fresh ideas. My advertising should reflect that, and this certainly does.”
Foil said he chose to use music from a local band to help support local music and the arts.
“We basically had a choice between investing in studio music made in New York or in a song made by musicians right here in Baton Rouge,” said Foil. “The choice was easy.”
